The principals also hold certifications in the areas of accounting, grant writing, project management, budgeting and diversity services, and training.

 
Venita J. Moore
Venita J. Moore, CPA, MBA, Six Sigma Green Belt (Managing Principal) leads the Fiscal Management and Accountability Sector of the firm and is responsible for operations. Venita is a versatile management professional with more than 23 years of experience in the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors leveraging funds to maximize fiscal resources, building business collaborations, developing and facilitating fiscal training modules, leading process reengineering initiatives, creating bottom-line improvements, and strategic business planning. Venita has provided fiscal management and/or accounting services to small businesses, not-for-profits, and schools and formerly served as the Interim and Deputy Secretary for the Indiana Family and Social Service Administration and Chief for the Division of Planning and Special Programs at the Internal Revenue Service.

Debra M. Simmons Wilson
Debra M. Simmons Wilson, MCRP (Managing Principal) leads the Diversity Services Sector and co-manages the Planning and Community Outreach sector. Debra is also responsible for marketing and public relations. Debra has more than 27 years experience in the planning and transportation industries serving as Project Manager on transportation infrastructure projects, downsizing Indiana state developmental centers, conducting public/stakeholder outreach to support coalition building, conducting community impact assessments and environmental justice analysis, and providing diversity services. Debra has served in several senior level positions at the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), the Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA), Parsons Brinckerhoff, Quade and Douglas, and Simmons, Wilson & Associates.

Tammy Butler Robinson
Tammy Butler Robinson, MURP, Certified Grant Writer (Managing Principal) leads the Fund Development sector of the firm and co-manages the Planning and Community Outreach sector. Tammy has worked in the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors for over a decade reforming programs thru strategic cost containment initiatives, leading the design and outreach of Indiana's healthcare system, formulating property tax policies and other State legislative initiatives, developing and monitoring budgets for more than a third of State government, assisting not-for-profits in fund development, and leading the development of technology solutions. Tammy formerly served as a fiscal analyst for the Indiana General Assembly House Ways and Means Committee, the Assistant Director for the Indiana State Budget Agency, and Data Director for the Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning.

Charles Johnson III
Charles Johnson III, CPA, (Managing Principal) co-manages the Fiscal Management and Accountability Sector of the firm, which focuses on providing assurance, tax and financial planning, accounting and business solutions services. Charles has over 23 years of experience in the public, private and not-for-profit arena. He served as leader, and senior staff in two of Indiana's most critical state agencies. Specifically, Charles served 8 years as the Indiana State Examiner. He was the Principal Officer of the Indiana State Board of Accounts with responsibility for managing an annual budget of over $17 million, and a staff of 314 employees. Additionally, Charles served as the Chief Financial Officer of the Indiana Public Employees' Retirement Fund, the largest pension fund in Indiana. In that role he had oversight of the financial operations of the pension fund that totaled over $16 billion in assets. Charles has received many outstanding service awards including the Outstanding CPA in Government from the Indiana CPA Society and the Sagamore of the Wabash from Governor Frank O'Bannon.
