Bottleworks Hotel – Indianapolis – Engaging Solutions served as the supplier diversity lead on the owner’s representative team responsible for developing and implementing the supplier diversity plan in collaboration with primes and subcontractors. To execute, Engaging Solutions conducted capacity analysis to set MBE/WBE/VBE/DOBE and LGBTQ goals. ES Planned and hosted open houses, pre-bid, and matchmaking events aligned with bid package releases, designing and managing the utilization monitoring tool for XBEs. We Provided monitoring and forecasting, with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. This worked resulted in generating work across multiple divisions for approximately 40 contractors. It also a achieved significant engagement in the design and construction process resulting in:

    • 15% of costs with minority owned businesses
    • 8% with women-owned businesses
    • 3% with veteran-owned businesses
    • 1% with disabled business owners Included LGBT-owned businesses in the project

We enhanced supplier diversity and inclusion in the project, fostering strong collaboration between primes, sub-contractors, and diverse suppliers. For accountability, we developed a comprehensive framework for ongoing monitoring and reporting of diversity goals.
